Frequently asked questions
How do I request a ride on Routta?
Open the app, enter your destination or pick a saved place, choose a bike, car, bus or van, and confirm. Routta sends the request to transporters nearby. Once one accepts, you see their name, vehicle and plate number, and can follow them to your pickup.
What vehicles can I book?
Bikes for one commuter, cars for up to four, buses with 16, 22 or 30 seats for groups, and vans of 1, 3 or 5 tons for moving goods.
Do I know the fare before I book?
Yes. Each vehicle option shows its fare and how far away the nearest one is before you confirm.
Can I book a ride for later?
Yes. You can schedule a ride for a set date and time, and repeat it every weekday if it's your regular commute.
Can I share my trip with family?
Yes. From the trip screen you can share a live link with your trusted contacts. They see your live position, the vehicle and plate, and your arrival time. They don't see your fare or your phone number.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancelling right after you request is free. If you cancel after the transporter has been on the way for a short while, or after they've arrived, a small cancellation fee may apply. The app shows it before you confirm.
